The 76mm diameter downpipe significantly reduces backpressure, relieving the turbocharger, which in turn delivers more power and lower exhaust gas temperature. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so they do not warp and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are machined. There are 2 welded M18x1.5mm lambda sensor connections. The connecting pipe to the exhaust has ø 63.5mm as original. The downpipe sits between the turbocharger and the exhaust. It can handle up to max. 500 hp; of course, the other components such as the intake, exhaust system, fuel injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must also be installed and the software adapted accordingly.
