How It Works & Installation Instructions

During normal engine operation, blow-by gases (pressure and vapors from the crankcase) return to the intake tract via the ventilation system. Without a separator, these oil vapors accumulate as stubborn carbon deposits on the intake ports and valves.

The oil catch tank is integrated directly into this circuit as a filter and separator element. The incoming gases flow through the tank; oil aerosols condense on the inner walls or within the filter element and collect at the bottom of the tank. As a result, nearly oil-free air is supplied to the intake system, which protects the engine’s condition over the long term.

Note: The tank should be checked for fill level and drained at regular maintenance intervals (depending on driving style and mileage).
