Description:
The titanium heat shielding tape is designed for effective thermal insulation of exhaust systems and is ideal for wrapping around pipe bends, downpipes, and exhaust systems. It significantly reduces radiant heat in the engine compartment, thereby protecting surrounding components from excessive thermal stress.
The high-quality titanium material is suitable for continuous temperatures of approx. up to 800–1000 °C continuous exposure as well as short-term peak temperatures of up to approx. 1150 °C , while remaining dimensionally stable and durable even under extreme conditions.
By reducing heat radiation, the temperature in the engine compartment can be noticeably lowered. Lower intake and component temperatures can, under certain conditions, contribute to improved combustion efficiency and thus also to potentially higher engine performance.
The 50 mm width enables fast and clean processing, especially for larger pipe diameters and professional applications in the performance and motorsports sectors.
