Description:
The upgrade intercooler is installed in the front, between the turbocharger and intake manifold. It is simply replaced 1:1 with the original one. The aim of an intercooler is to ensure that the air heated by the turbocharger is cooled down. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber at the same volume and more fuel can be burned, increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger, because it requires less speed at the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine achieves slightly better exhaust values, provided the control unit is adapted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used for turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. The intercooler offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast boxes and has a bar'n plate mesh, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery
