Description:The upgrade intercooler is installed in the front, between turbocharger and intake manifold. It is simply replaced with the original 1:1. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber at the same volume, and more fuel can be burned, thereby increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air, the less thermal load is placed on the engine and the turbocharger since it requires less speed for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced while the engine achieves slightly better exhaust emission values, provided the ECU is adjusted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used for turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. The intercooler offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast boxes and has a bar'n plate mesh, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
