Description:
The R32 turbo kit offered here was designed and installed directly on our former Golf 4 R32. It therefore fits plug & play in the Golf 4 R32 and Golf 4 2.8L 24v. The centerpiece consists of the downpipe and boost pressure pipes. We have paid attention to high fitting accuracy and optimized intake paths. Downpipe as well as boost pressure pipes are handmade in Germany. High-quality stainless steel is used.
The use of high-quality components from well-known brand manufacturers was also important to us, e.g. for the injection nozzles, the N75 valve, as well as relevant gaskets and compression reduction. Garrett turbos also follow this approach for high durability of the kit. In order to achieve an engine output of 450 hp, we decided to use an external fuel pump solution including a catchtank. However, if you would prefer to use an internal fuel pump, please contact us. As far as possible, all connectors and relevant gaskets are present. The silicone hoses are high-quality and come with appropriately selected bends, connectors and reducers in black. The intercooler performed very well in test bench runs up to approx. 650 hp.
2x 200 cell catalytic converters should be used for the conversion ? the standard catalytic converter has too much backpressure. The exhaust system should also be free of backpressure and have approx. 76mm.
suitable for:
- Plug and Play: VW Golf 4 R32, as well as V6 24v engines (3.2 and 2.8 liter)
- Golf V: A different manifold must be used so that the turbo does not touch the bulkhead. This means the boost pressure pipes and downpipe do not fit plug & play and must be adapted accordingly on the vehicle.
- The kit can also be used for other R32 / V6 engines / projects, but adjustments to downpipe and boost pressure pipes are to be expected.
