Product description:
The stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces backpressure, relieving the turbocharger, which in turn delivers more power, torque and lower exhaust gas temperatures. The post-cat sensor may need to be programmed out. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel to prevent warping and thus avoid leaks. The flange surfaces are machined and there is a flex pipe in between, which effectively absorbs vibrations. Two M18x1.5mm lambda sensor connections are welded in. A 200 cell cat is recommended. The downpipe is located between the turbocharger and exhaust system. The connection to the exhaust is as original. It can handle up to max. 400hp; of course, the other components such as the exhaust system, fuel injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must also be installed and the software adjusted accordingly. Upgrade turbochargers such as K04-001 plug & play are also compatible with the downpipe.
