This high-quality stainless steel downpipe with a 63 mm pipe diameter is suitable for various 1.8T turbo engines from Audi, VW, and Skoda. It replaces the original downpipe between the catalytic converter and the exhaust system and, thanks to the increased pipe cross-section, provides optimized exhaust flow.
With a diameter of 63 mm instead of the stock 54 mm , the downpipe can reduce exhaust backpressure and relieve the turbocharger in appropriately tuned engines. In combination with other tuning components and suitable engine software, depending on the vehicle, turbocharger, and components used, , power outputs of up to approx. 330 PS be achieved.
The downpipe features an integrated interlock flexible pipe as well as matching brackets for mounting on the vehicle. The pipe is predominantly curved and is welded only in the area of the flexible hose and the flange connections.
The downpipe is installed between the catalytic converter and the rest of the exhaust system.

When using the original exhaust system, due to the different pipe diameters, a reducer sleeve from 63 mm to 54 mm is required.
For vehicles equipped with a larger sports exhaust system, the downpipe can be connected directly or with appropriate modifications, depending on the pipe diameter.
