The new Gen.2 top-mount exhaust manifold for the popular 1.8T 20V engine was developed specifically for high-performance turbo conversions and motorsports. Thanks to its flow-optimized 4-1 design and generous 48 mm channels, this high-performance exhaust manifold enables power outputs of up to 700 hp while improving turbocharger response.
Unlike conventional forced-induction exhaust manifolds, the Gen.2 exhaust manifold features a modern 4-to-1 design. This allows exhaust gases to flow more efficiently, resulting in faster turbo response and significantly more power and torque even in the mid-range.
The flow-optimized 48 mm cross-sections significantly increase exhaust flow and create ideal conditions for high-performance Garrett, Turbosmart, Tial, or Precision turbochargers.
For maximum durability under extreme thermal loads, the exhaust manifold is manufactured from heat-resistant cast stainless steel 1.4849. This high-quality material offers:
