Description:
- The Y-pipe sits between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. It has a cross-section of 76mm. In the pipe from the turbo is an interlock flex pipe and 2 connections for lambda sensor M18x1.5mm as well as holder for the original mount. The 200 cell catalytic converter is then welded into the second pipe, each with a connection for the lambda sensor and a holder for the original mounting points. The flange surfaces are flat and made of steel, which prevents the surfaces from warping at high temperatures, as would be the case with stainless steel. The larger downpipe reduces the back pressure, relieves the turbo and allows more power to be delivered, up to 450 hp depending on the components installed. A larger sports exhaust system is recommended.
