Exhaust pipes are the end pieces of every exhaust system and the visual finishing touch of the system. In addition to complete exhaust systems, our individual pipes give you the option of keeping already installed systems and replacing only the exhaust pipes with ease thanks to the simple plug-in connection. Although the way exhaust systems work is easy to explain, the individual processes are just as complex as they are ingenious and primarily deal with the exhaust gases that must be discharged from the engine. Roughly explained, the exhaust consists of an exhaust manifold, a downpipe, a catalytic converter, a muffler, and of course the tailpipe.
Under the vehicle, the toxic gas is discharged by means of the exhaust manifold before it is passed directly on to the connected downpipe. The exhaust gases then enter the essential part of the catalytic converter, where the gases are cleaned using special filters so that fewer nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbons are released into the ambient air. This is followed by the muffler, which regulates the noise using modern acoustic methods before the exhaust gases are released outside through the tailpipe.
