The turbo intercooler is abbreviated as LLK and in English referred to as an intercooler. In general, the water-cooled intercooler acts as a heat exchanger to reduce the temperature in the engine, i.e. the intake air temperature is cooled down so that the engine can better compress the mixture.
The turbo intercooler is installed after the turbo and between the throttle valve. This allows the heat generated in the turbocharger to be dissipated. The purpose of the turbo intercooler or turbo intercooler kits is to optimize and increase the engine's performance. Lowering the temperature increases the volume of air mass. In turn, installing the intercooler kit allows more fuel to be burned and the power output is increased many times over.
The turbo intercoolers, intercooler kits, and water-cooled intercooler are therefore used in racing and downsizing. The latter enables smaller engines to achieve higher output with lower fuel consumption. The intercooler kits are built in water-cooled or air-cooled versions.
The "water-cooled" type intercooler kit releases the temperature into a water circuit. With other methods, the performance of the air-cooled turbo intercooler in the turbo area is increased by spraying with water. As this method is extremely labor-intensive, it is mainly used in professional motor racing.
If you also want to increase your vehicle's performance, then choose the intercooler kit, for example in the water-cooled or air-cooled version, and install it in the engine. You will be thrilled by the new driving experience!
