Specialty Hoses: High-Performance Fuel and Water Hoses for Operational Safety in Motorsports & Tuning

An uninterrupted fuel supply and stable thermal management are fundamental prerequisites for engine reliability in performance upgrades and racing. Both fuel lines and coolant hoses are among the most heavily stressed components in the engine compartment. 1. High-Performance Fuel Hoses for Extreme Conditions

When designing fuel systems, the lines used must withstand specific chemical and physical stresses. Thanks to its multi-layer construction, our low-pressure fuel hose meets the strictest safety criteria in motorsports:

  • Antistatic properties (ESD protection): As a distinguishing feature, this fuel hose has both an antistatic inner layer and outer layer. This reliably prevents electrostatic charges caused by the friction of flowing fuels – a critical safety feature for preventing sparking in racing fuel systems.

  • High fuel compatibility: The inner layer made of high-quality nitrile rubber (NBR) is highly resistant to chemical substances. It is fully compatible with standard fuels (Super Plus), racing gasoline, as well as B100 biodiesel (up to an aromatic content of 60%). The material remains diffusion-tight and does not tend to swell.

  • Mechanical stability through textile reinforcement: A pressure-supporting reinforcement made of spiralized synthetic textile threads ensures high pressure resistance. At the same time, the hose remains highly flexible, allowing extremely tight bending radii without kinking.

2. Upgrade Water Hoses: Protection Against Thermally Induced Total Engine Failure

While defective fuel lines pose an extreme safety risk, aged or undersized coolant hoses are one of the most common causes of sudden total engine failure in motorsports.

  • The problem with OEM production hoses: Factory rubber hoses are subject to progressive loss of plasticizers due to constant thermal cycling and contact with glycol-containing coolants. They become porous, harden, or swell significantly under pressure. In hard racetrack use – where the cooling system operates under increased system pressure and maximum temperatures – this unpredictably leads to hose bursting. The resulting sudden loss of coolant leads within seconds to thermal overload of the cylinder head (warping), cracking of the engine block, or seizure of the pistons (total engine failure).

  • The solution through multi-layer silicone water hoses: Our upgrade water hoses made of high-strength silicone are reinforced with multiple layers of fabric (multi-ply). They offer extreme pressure and temperature resistance. The material does not expand even at high pressures, remains permanently elastic, and completely eliminates the risk of hose bursts in racing operation.
