Scope of delivery:
- Y-pipe ø 76mm stainless steel with interlock flex pipe with 200 cell racing catalytic converter Euro 4 suitable for Audi/VW 1.8T 150HP and 180HP with transversely mounted engines and front-wheel drive
(Connection to exhaust in 55mm as original or to 76mm (3"), please specify when ordering)
- incl. V-band clamp and gasket from turbo to downpipe 170158
Description:
*improved quality and with V-band connection*
The stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces back pressure, the turbo is relieved which again brings more power, torque and lower exhaust gas temperature. The post-cat sensor may have to be programmed out. The Y-pipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so they do not warp and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are machined. There are 2 lambda sensor ports M18x1.5mm welded in. The 200 cell cat has a diameter of ø 100mm. The Y-pipe sits between turbocharger and exhaust system. The connection to the exhaust is as original. Power output up to max. 400HP can be run, of course other components like exhaust system, injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must also be installed and the software adapted accordingly. Upgrade turbochargers such as K04-001 plug & play also fit the downpipe.
Registration according to §21 StVZO must be carried out by an officially recognized expert. Registration cannot be guaranteed. As the emission behavior depends on several properties such as exhaust gas temperature, engine power, displacement, etc., the specified Euro standard cannot be guaranteed.
