Description:
The intercooler kit is installed in the front between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is suitable for the vehicles listed above. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber at the same volume and more fuel can be burned, which increases power and efficiency. The lower the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine and turbocharger because less speed is required to achieve the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine achieves slightly better emission values, provided the control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important that the intercooler receives as much airflow as possible. The intercooler kit offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast end tanks, has 4 mounting points, and a bar'n plate core. Power output of up to approx. 340hp is possible. Ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested to 5 bar before delivery.
