Description:
The stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces back pressure, relieving the turbo which in turn provides more power, torque, and lower exhaust gas temperature. The post-cat sensor may have to be coded out. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so that they do not warp and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are machined. There are 2 lambda sensor ports M18x1.5mm welded in. The downpipe sits between the turbocharger and exhaust system. A 200 cell metal cat is installed. The connection to the exhaust is ø 76mm and not ø 60mm as original. Output up to max. 500HP can be achieved, of course all other components such as intake, exhaust system, injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must be installed and the software adapted accordingly. Upgrade turbochargers such as K04-064 also fit plug & play to the downpipe.

Due to the tight installation space in all-wheel drive, and the larger cross-section ø 76mm of the downpipe, it may be necessary, especially with worn engine mounts, to slightly dent the downpipe where the driveshaft passes.
