HJS presents a versatile, non-regulated catalytic converter system with 100 cells per square inch (cpsi) specifically designed for use in motorsports. Catalytic converters with individually tailored volumes are provided for vehicles in various displacement classes. No displacement factor (e.g., for turbocharging) is taken into account during sizing.

All HJS motorsport catalytic converters are homologated in accordance with the regulations of the German Motor Sport Federation (DMSB). DMSB homologation is fully recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).

The new generation of HJS Motorsport PE catalysts with DMSB homologation features a 30% weight reduction compared to the Cup catalysts previously used. Despite an unchanged film thickness of 0.11 mm, a perforated film structure saves considerable weight, reducing exhaust backpressure by up to 15%. The improved gas flow further contributes to reducing exhaust backpressure and optimizes the exhaust gas purification effect. The use of lightweight film (PE) ensures the same durability as in previous products.
