Easy installation

No welding, no cutting, no problem: The metal cat is designed so that it can be replaced 1:1 with the old OEM part. Thanks to its precise manufacturing, it fits the original mounting points and flanges.

Flow-optimized dimensions for maximum flow

The catalytic converter features generously sized connections to take in and discharge the exhaust flow of your turbocharger without turbulence:

• Inlet (from turbo, inner): approx. 58 mm

• Outlet (to downpipe, inner): approx. 69 mm

• 200-cell metal catalytic converter, EURO4

The 200-cell cat massively reduces backpressure directly after the turbo outlet. The result: Significantly more agile response (better spool-up) from the turbocharger and noticeable thermal relief for the entire engine.

Premium-level exhaust technology: Euro 4 up to 400 hp

The heart of this OEM-look catalytic converter is an extremely temperature-stable and flow-efficient metal monolith mesh. Unlike standard imports, this high-quality cat is coated so efficiently with high-quality material that it reliably complies with EURO 4 emissions class with a power increase of up to approx. 400 hp (provided clean ECU tuning). This makes it the ideal companion for ambitious Stage 2 and Stage 3 conversions.

Important technical note on engine electronics

Please note: Since the high-performance catalytic converter allows the exhaust flow through significantly faster and with less resistance than the restrictive OEM cat, it is possible that the post-cat sensor (diagnostic sensor) registers this altered flow as a deviation. Depending on the vehicle's software version, the post-cat sensor should therefore be deactivated or programmed out via software as part of map optimization in order to avoid an error message (MIL) in the cockpit.
