Our ECU tune via ECU shipment is a so-called base application. This software is primarily intended to safely commission the vehicle with the installed hardware modifications, so that it can be driven under its own power to a dynamometer or tuner.
At our partner company CCT Motorsport GmbH, the cost of the base application can be offset against the price of an ECU Tune on the dynamometer. Please feel free to contact us regarding this!
The software is customized based on your vehicle and modification specifications. This includes, among other things, information on installed components such as mass air flow sensors, fuel injectors, turbochargers, intercoolers, or other performance-enhancing parts.
Before placing your order, please send us an email to info@turbo-parts.dedetailing the modifications made and the ECU number. We will then check whether a suitable software solution is available for your setup.
The modified software will then be programmed onto the engine control unit you sent in and returned to you via DHL upon completion.
Please include a list of the installed parts with the control unit or send it to us in advance via email.
Since we cannot perform a technical inspection of the vehicle in advance or measure it on a dynamometer, the software is based on our extensive experience and dynamometer data from comparable vehicle setups.
We rely on numerous proven and reliable maps that have been specifically tuned for similar combinations of turbochargers, fuel injectors, mass air flow sensors, and other hardware.
The delivered base application ensures that the vehicle can be operated reliably with the modifications made.
IMPORTANT:
This software is expressly not intended for continuous full-throttle driving, racetrack use, or extreme loads.
For maximum performance, perfect drivability, and the highest level of operational safety, we generally recommend individual tuning on a dynamometer. Only there can the software be precisely adapted to the actual condition and mechanical characteristics of the engine.
For safety reasons, our base tuning is intentionally set slightly richer than the stock tuning. This prevents the engine from running too lean under load, which could cause damage.
Should any issues arise after installing the modified control unit, we are of course available by phone to work with you to find a solution.

In the context of statutory rectification attempts, we expressly refer to the technical inspection on the dynamometer at CCT Motorsport GmbH. Only there can modifications be properly inspected and necessary adjustments reliably carried out.
