Description:
The upgrade intercooler is installed at the front, between the turbocharger and intake manifold. It simply replaces the original unit 1:1. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber at the same volume, and more fuel can be burned, increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and turbocharger because less speed is required for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and  the engine achieves slightly better emission values, provided the ECU is adapted. It is important that the intercooler receives as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used with forced induction diesel and gasoline engines. The intercooler offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast end tanks and has a Bar`n Plate core, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is pressure tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
