Description:The upgrade intercooler is installed in the front, between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is simply replaced 1:1 with the original. The aim of an intercooler is that the air heated by the turbocharger is cooled down. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber at the same volume and more fuel can be burned, thus increasing power output and efficiency. The lower the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger, since it requires less speed for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine achieves slightly better exhaust values, provided the control unit is adapted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much airflow as possible. The coolers can be used in turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. The intercooler offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast boxes and has a bar'n plate core, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
