Description:
The intercooler kit is installed between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is suitable for the vehicles listed above. The aim of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber with the same volume and more fuel can be burned, thereby increasing the power output and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger, because it requires less speed for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine achieves slightly better exhaust values, provided the control unit is adapted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much airflow as possible. The intercooler kit offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast boxes, has 4 mounting points and a bar'n plate core. An output of up to approx. 350hp is possible. Ideal for motorsports and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
