Product description:
The intercooler kit is installed at the front between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It fits the vehicles listed above. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool the air heated by the turbocharger. Cooling the compressed air allows more air mass to enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, so more fuel can be burned, thus increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal strain on the engine, and the turbocharger as with the same air mass, it requires fewer revolutions. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine receives slightly better emission values, provided the ECU is adjusted accordingly. Care must be taken to ensure the intercooler gets as much airflow as possible. The intercooler kit offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast end tanks, has 4 mounting points and a bar and plate core. It provides power potential up to approx. 340 hp. Ideal for motorsport and tuning. Every intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
