Description:
The stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces backpressure, relieving the turbocharger, which in turn delivers more power, torque and lower exhaust gas temperature. The post-catalyst sensor may need to be programmed out. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so that they do not warp and thus avoid leaks. The flange surfaces are machined and there is a flex pipe between them, which effectively absorbs vibrations. Two M18x1.5mm lambda sensor connections are welded in. A 200 CPI catalytic converter is recommended. The downpipe sits between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. The connection to the exhaust is as original. Power up to max. 400HP can be driven, of course, the other components such as the exhaust system, injectors, exhaust manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must be installed and the software adjusted accordingly. Upgrade turbochargers such as K04-001 are also plug & play compatible.
