- Stainless steel downpipe for Audi A4 B5, A6 C5, 1.8T, and Passat 1.8T Description:- The downpipe is installed between the catalytic converter and the exhaust system. It is bolted to the original catalytic converter, or our plug-and-play 200-CPI catalytic converter (item no. 340106) can be used. It has a cross-section of 63 mm (original: 54 mm), and comes with an Interlook flexible hose and mounting brackets installed. The larger downpipe reduces back pressure, relieves the turbo, and allows for increased power output—up to 330 PS, depending on the components installed. The pipe is bent and welded only at the flexible section and the flange.
