Description & Tuning Benefits: This precision-machined 70mm stainless steel Downpipe replaces the restrictive original exhaust pipe directly behind the turbocharger. The significantly increased cross-sectional area and the flow-optimized pipe routing drastically reduce exhaust backpressure.

The result is a noticeable reduction in mechanical stress on the turbocharger:

• Faster response: The K16 turbo spools up significantly sooner, noticeably minimizing the notorious turbo lag.

• Effective power gain: The improved flow increases power and torque across the entire RPM range, making this Downpipe the perfect foundation for performance upgrades.

• Thermal Relief: The exhaust gas temperature (AGT) directly at the turbine outlet drops significantly, which massively increases the service life of the turbocharger and the entire C20LET engine, even under full load.
