Important note regarding bore selection: The version for an 81.0 mm stock bore is only suitable if the engine block has been professionally measured and checked for suitability for this dimension prior to ordering. This also applies to blocks offered as “factory new.” The specification “stock dimension” alone is not sufficient for selecting the correct pistons.

Please check with your engine builder regarding the required size before purchasing. Be sure to consider the condition of the cylinder bores and the piston clearance specified by Wiseco. Practical experience: 16V engines almost always need to be bored out or machined to accommodate turbo pistons. Therefore, 81.5 mm or 82 mm pistons are generally required.
