Vehicles are generally not delivered from the factory with a silicone intake hose. As soon as you decide to turbocharge your car, you should also consider replacing the original hose. With relatively little effort, you can replace it with a model from our range, thereby further increasing the efficiency of the conversion and ensuring a long service life for the materials.

Silicone as a durable material with no loss of performance

The intake hoses we offer are made of silicone. This material ensures that the hose does not collapse, even under high engine power. Replacing the intake hose is therefore particularly advisable if a vehicle’s engine has been tuned for increased performance, as the additional engine power places greater demands on the material. With increased power, the original hose can constrict, leading to a reduction in performance and causing damage to the material. Therefore, as part of a turbo conversion, it makes sense to replace the intake hose with a silicone model, such as those available from us. Our silicone hoses can be used across a wide temperature range and do not lose their performance even at extreme temperatures. Additionally, depending on the model, they can withstand pressures of up to 5 bar.
