Scope of delivery:
- Y-pipe ø 76mm stainless steel for Audi/VW 1.8T 150HP and 180HP with transverse-mounted engines and front-wheel drive *
- incl. seal and V-band clamp
Description:
The stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces the back pressure, relieving the turbo, which in turn provides more power, torque and lower exhaust gas temperature. The downstream sensor may need to be programmed out. The Y-pipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so they do not warp and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are planned. There are 2 lambda sensor connections M18x1.5mm welded in. The Y-pipe sits between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. The connection to the exhaust is as original. An output of up to max. 400HP can be driven, but of course the other components such as the exhaust system, injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must also be installed and the software adjusted accordingly. Upgrade turbochargers such as K04-001 plug & play also fit the downpipe.
