A vehicle demands the highest stability from its components—because engine vibrations, rough roads, and harsh weather take a heavy toll on the steel. Only the reliability of high-quality bolts and uncompromisingly strong fasteners ensure smooth operation in the long run. Because only when all functions operate safely is the driver protected—and that is the top priority. With ARP 1.8T bolts, your car will experience a true upgrade with high-strength fasteners—you shouldn’t expect anything less!

But which screw is the right one? Which thread size is correct, and which material is best suited? Hardly any fastener is universally applicable or even reusable! To ensure every part fits where it belongs, you’ll find a wide selection of different screws in the Turbo-parts.de product range. Tighten securely and you’re good to go!

Connecting rod bolts

Bolts are essential wherever significant movement places stress on specific components to keep them in position. The connecting piece between the piston and the crankshaft is also known as a connecting rod —which is responsible for the up-and-down motion. Subjected to dynamic stress, you need the right bolts with high elasticity and strength for this. The solution: connecting rod bolts!

Main bearing bolts

The crankshaft bearing—also known as the main bearing—is responsible for supporting the crankshaft. Movement is a daily occurrence here and puts stress on the entire housing—so a secure fit is essential. Important: Main bearing bolts should only be used once and must therefore be replaced every time the crankshaft bearing is replaced!

A cylinder head bolt rarely comes alone—because only the interaction of evenly spaced bolts of this type ensures the smooth functioning of the cylinder head gasket. In doing so, they generate the necessary surface pressure, which is achieved only through precise bolt tightening procedures. Special threads and exceptional stability characterize these fasteners.

Stud bolts

Whether threaded or not, stud bolts are indispensable for holding a vehicle together. As a fixed connection between two parts, their function differs from that of a standard bolt due to their design. Unlike standard bolts, they do not require a “head” to be secured, but instead sit directly between the parts. If one is attached to the bottom of a component, something can also be mounted on top of it.

Whether screws, bolts, nuts, or threaded rods—these small metal rods pack a punch, as they are the fasteners that, alongside welds, hold the vehicle together and ensure its safety. Each vehicle type relies on different hardware, with fasteners and connections installed accordingly—so researching which screws and other parts you need beforehand is essential before making a purchase.

Of course, in addition to the ARP 1.8T bolts you’ll also find many other types in our range, ensuring that every component gets the fastening it needs to meet specifications. Whether for exhaust systems, clutches or other equipment, you’ll find all the professional-grade parts you’re looking for here.
