Description

With the SUV conversion kit for VAG 2.0 TFSI the standard exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve is replaced with the proven Audi S3 / VW Golf 6 R technology. The modified position of the recirculation valve offers technical advantages, particularly for performance-optimized and more heavily loaded 2.0 TFSI engines.

By relocating the SUV to a thermally more favorable and significantly cooler position. This reduces the thermal stress on the valve, which can extend its service life and reduce the risk of heat-related leaks.

Another advantage of the modified SUV position is that when the exhaust gas recirculation valve opens, the cooled charge air is recirculated. At the same time, the SUV is located closer to the throttle valve, allowing pressure spikes caused by closing the throttle valve to be dissipated more quickly and in a more controlled manner. This can lead to more stable boost pressure behavior and improved throttle response.

The positioning is based on the factory solution used in the Audi S3 and VW Golf 6 R and also offers improved access to the blow-by valve for maintenance and repair work.

The conversion kit is therefore particularly well-suited for drivers who value the reliability and thermal resilience of the SUV system.

Important Installation Notes

Please note that your intake manifold must have a connection port for the SUV recirculation, as is the case with our corresponding intake systems, for example.

For vehicles without a sound amplifier , item no. 334000 must also be purchased.

• VW Golf 6 GTI 2.0 TFSI – 211 PS with IHI turbocharger

The SUV conversion kit is particularly suitable for use with tuned 2.0 TFSI engines with increased boost pressure, where a reliable and thermally less stressful exhaust gas recirculation solution is advantageous.
