We offer a wide range of tuning parts for the Audi A3 8PA Sportback 1.4 FSI TFSI, 1.6 FSI, 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 FSI + TFSI, 2.0 TDI + Quattro. Most parts are plug-and-play, meaning the original part is replaced and the tuning part is reinstalled without modification or with minimal adjustment. This saves a great deal of work, money, and time.

Turbocharger

The heart of the 1.8 TFSI or 2.0 TFSI, alongside the engine, is the turbocharger. We offer various turbocharger upgrade such as the K04-064 with a larger compressor wheel, turbine wheel, and reinforced turbo actuator plug and play, because weaker turbo actuators can no longer maintain boost pressure above a certain level and begin to flutter; therefore, stronger turbo actuators are required. As a rule of thumb, starting at an opening pressure of 0.5 bar, the turbo actuator can maintain a pressure of approx. 1.3 bar, and after that, it begins to flutter. This allows for a maximum of 300 hp. The turbocharger looks almost identical to the OEM unit. We carry genuine Borgwarner as well as our own brand, “Turbo-parts.de,” which we have been successfully selling for over 13 years. These are all precision-balanced and have a long service life. To ensure the turbocharger receives sufficient exhaust gas, a correspondingly large exhaust manifold is required. For conversions using universal turbochargers, e.g., GT28 Turbo or GT30, etc., an exhaust manifold with the appropriate T25 or T3 flange is required; we also carry these in our product range.

A turbocharger alone isn’t enough. Of course, the surrounding components must also be replaced to ensure optimal performance from the engine.

Exhaust Technology

To generate as little exhaust backpressure as possible, Downpipes with a larger pipe diameter, e.g., 76 mm, are required to relieve the turbo and reduce exhaust backpressure. We also offer these with TÜV certification and with 200-CPI or 100-CPI sport catalytic converters.

To achieve a rich sound and ensure sufficient exhaust gas can escape, we have various Sports exhaust systems generally from Simons in Sweden with EC approval, i.e. they do not need to be registered and can be used legally on public roads.

Intake

When upgrading turbochargers or with performance-enhanced engines, the original intake hoses tend to constrict, leading to a loss of power. We offer hoses reinforced with synthetic fibers Silicone hoses e.g. boost hoses that can withstand the power. To achieve greater airflow, greater intake with a performance air filter, as well as larger intake manifolds, ensure optimal airflow. For certain upgrades, such as installing the K04-064 53049880064 turbo on a Golf 6 GTI, a boost bypass valve (SUV) conversion kit is required.

Powertrain

To transfer the power to the road, Sport Clutches are essential. We offer complete kits with a one-piece flywheel, pressure plate, friction disc with organic lining, and release bearing that are also street-legal; spring-loaded sintered metal discs are also suitable for the street, while unsprung ones are recommended primarily for motorsports.

Cooling

To get cool air into the engine, a larger Intercooler Kit or a Upgrade Intercooler required, because cooler air is denser and contains more air mass, which in turn leads to increased performance. This is particularly noticeable in the summer or during longer highway drives. We also offer these with TÜV certification.

Engine Technology

To ensure the engine can withstand certain loads, Forged pistons and reinforced connecting rods are installed. We’ve had good experiences with JE-Pistons and Wiseco.
