We offer a wide range of tuning parts for the Audi A4 B6 Sedan 1.6, 1.8T, 1.9 TDI, 2.4, 2.6, 2.8 + Quattro. Most parts are plug-and-play, meaning the original part is replaced and the tuning part is reinstalled without modification or with minimal adjustment. This saves a lot of work, money, and time.
Turbocharger
The heart of the 1.8T, alongside the engine, is the turbocharger. We offer various turbocharger upgrade such as the K04-015 with a larger compressor wheel, turbine wheel, and reinforced turbo actuator plug and play, because weaker turbo actuators can no longer maintain boost pressure above a certain level and begin to flutter; therefore, stronger turbo actuators are required. As a rule of thumb, starting at an opening pressure of 0.5 bar, the turbo actuator can maintain a pressure of approx. 1.3 bar, and after that, it begins to flutter. This allows for a maximum of 300 hp. The turbocharger looks almost identical to the OEM unit. We carry genuine Borgwarner as well as our own brand, “Turbo-parts.de,” which we have been successfully selling for over 13 years. These are all precision-balanced and have a long service life. To ensure the turbocharger receives sufficient exhaust gas, a correspondingly large Exhaust manifold is required. Here we again have upgrade exhaust manifold with a larger pipe cross-section that can simply be swapped out for the original exhaust manifold. For conversions with universal turbochargers, e.g., GT28 turbo or GT30, etc., an exhaust manifold is required that has the appropriate T25 or T3 flange; we also carry these in our product range. If your Exhaust housing for your original turbo or upgraded turbo is broken/defective, you can also purchase it from us.
A turbocharger alone isn’t enough. Of course, the surrounding components must also be replaced so that optimal performance can be extracted from the engine.
Exhaust Technology
To generate as little exhaust backpressure as possible, Downpipes with a larger pipe diameter, e.g., 76 mm, are required so that the turbo is relieved and less exhaust backpressure is generated. We also offer these with TÜV certification and with 200-cell or 100-cell sport catalytic converters.
To achieve a rich sound and ensure that sufficient exhaust gases can escape, we offer various Sports exhaust systems generally from Simons in Sweden with EC approval, meaning they do not need to be registered and can be used legally on public roads.
Intake
When using upgraded turbochargers or in performance-enhanced engines, the original intake hoses tend to constrict, resulting in power loss. Here we offer synthetic-fiber-reinforced Silicone hoses e.g. Intake hoses or boost hoses that can withstand the power. To achieve greater airflow, Sport air filters as well as larger intake manifolds ensure optimal breathing. Throttle recirculation valves also called pop-off or SUV valves are indispensable on the 1.8T, and they must also be closed there, otherwise the mass airflow sensor will be missing the air vented into the atmosphere in its calculation. For this reason, open valves are not suitable on the 1.8T with the original injection system.
Power transmission
To transfer the power to the road, Sport Clutches are indispensable. We have complete kits with single-mass flywheel, pressure plate, friction disc with organic lining, and release bearing that are also street-legal; sprung sintered metal discs are also suitable for the street, while unsprung ones are more recommended for motorsport.
Cooling
To get cool air into the engine, a larger Intercooler Kit or a Upgrade Intercooler required, because cooler air is denser and contains more air mass, which in turn leads to more power. This is especially noticeable in summer or during longer highway drives. For conversions with replacement turbochargers, other Oil and water lines are required.
Engine Technology
To ensure the engine can withstand certain performance levels, Forged piston are installed. We’ve had good experiences with JE-Pistons and Wiseco.
