The ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces backpressure, relieving the turbo, which in turn results in more power and lower exhaust gas temperatures. The post-cat sensor may need to be programmed out. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so they do not warp and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are machined. Two lambda sensor connections M18x1.5mm are welded in. The connecting pipe to the exhaust has ø 60mm as original. The downpipe sits between the turbocharger and exhaust. A 200 cell cat is recommended. Power up to max. 500hp can be run, of course the other components such as intake, exhaust system, injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger also need to be installed and software adapted accordingly.
