 Tuning parts for Audi TT TTS TTRS 8J 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI and 2.5 + Quattro

We offer a wide range of tuning parts for the Audi TT TTS TTRS 8J 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI and 2.5 + Quattro. Most parts are plug-and-play, meaning the original part is replaced and the tuning part is reinstalled without modification or with minimal adjustment. This saves a great deal of work, money and time.

Turbocharger

The heart of the 2.0 TFSI, alongside the engine, is the turbocharger. We offer various turbocharger upgrade such as the K04-064 with a larger compressor wheel, turbine wheel and reinforced turbo actuator plug and play, because weaker turbo actuators can no longer maintain boost pressure above a certain level and begin to flutter; therefore, stronger turbo actuators are required. As a rule of thumb, starting at an opening pressure of 0.5 bar, the turbo actuator can maintain a pressure of approx. 1.3 bar, and after that, it begins to flutter. This allows for a maximum of 300 hp. The turbocharger looks almost identical to the OEM unit. We carry genuine Borgwarner as well as our own brand “Turbo-parts.de” which we have been successfully selling for over 13 years. These are all precision-balanced and have a long service life. To ensure the turbocharger receives sufficient exhaust gas, a correspondingly large exhaust manifold is required. For conversions using universal turbochargers, e.g. GT28 turbo or GT30 etc., an exhaust manifold with the appropriate T25 or T3 flange is required; we also carry these in our product range.

A turbocharger alone isn’t enough. Of course, the surrounding components must also be replaced to ensure optimal performance from the engine.

Exhaust technology

To generate as little exhaust backpressure as possible, Downpipes with a larger pipe diameter, e.g. 76 mm, are required to relieve the turbo and reduce exhaust backpressure. We also offer these with TÜV or EC type approval, meaning they do not require registration, and with 200-cell or 100-cell sport catalytic converters.

To achieve a rich sound and ensure sufficient exhaust gases can escape, we have various Sports exhaust systems generally from Simons in Sweden with EC approval, meaning they do not need to be registered and can be used legally on public roads.

Intake

When upgrading turbochargers or with performance-enhanced engines, the original intake hoses tend to constrict, leading to a loss of power. We offer synthetic fiber-reinforced Silicone hoses e.g. Boost pressure hoses that can withstand the performance. To achieve greater airflow, greater intake with sports air filters as well as larger intake manifolds provide optimal breathing. For certain conversions such as the K04-064 53049880064 turbo on a Golf 6 GTI, a Shuttle Air Valve (SUV) Conversion Kit is required.

Power transmission

To transfer the power to the road, Sport clutches are essential. We offer complete kits with single-mass flywheel, pressure plate, friction disc with organic lining and release bearing that are also street-legal; sprung sintered metal discs are also suitable for the street, while unsprung ones are more recommended for motorsport.

Cooling

To get cool air into the engine, a larger Intercooler kit or an upgrade intercooler is required, because cooler air is denser and contains more air mass, which in turn leads to increased performance. This is particularly noticeable in the summer or during longer highway drives. We also offer these with TÜV.

Engine technology

To ensure the engine can withstand certain performance levels, Forged pistons and reinforced connecting rods are installed. We’ve had good experiences with JE-Pistons and Wiseco.
