Description:
The intercooler kit is installed between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. It is suitable for the vehicles listed above. The aim of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber at the same volume and more fuel can be burned, thereby increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine, the turbocharger, because it requires less speed for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine achieves slightly better exhaust values, provided the control unit is adapted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the water cooler gets as much airflow as possible. The LLK kit offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast boxes, has mounting points for the original mount and a bar`n plate core. Outputs of up to approx. 340 hp are possible. Ideal for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
