With this high-quality oil cooler kit for VW VR6 engines you can reduce oil temperature and improve your engine’s thermal capacity. The 13-row oil cooler, measuring 330 x 92 x 50 mm offers a significantly larger cooling surface area than the stock oil circuit and is particularly well-suited for VR6 engines driven in a sporty manner or with performance upgrades.

The oil cooler kit for the VW VR6 is designed without a thermostat. As a result, the oil cooler is permanently integrated into the oil circuit and ensures continuous, effective heat dissipation. Depending on the vehicle, outside temperature, driving style, and engine load, the oil temperature can typically be reduced by approx. 10–30 °C reduced.

The VW VR6 Oil Cooler Kit features D08 connections with 3/4-16 UNF threads. The included steel-braided hoses provide a flexible and secure connection between the oil filter adapter and the oil cooler.

The included extension bolt for VR6 engines is precision-machined using CNC technology and is made of high-quality stainless steel.

The oil cooler kit is designed for VW VR6 engines manufactured through 1997.

Important Note: For VW VR6 models manufactured in 1996 or later the corresponding screw-on metal cover from VW must also be used or purchased.
