- Stainless steel downpipe for Audi A4 B5, A6 C5, 1.8T, and Passat 1.8T Description: - The downpipe is located between the catalytic converter and the exhaust system. It is bolted to the original catalytic converter, or our plug-and-play 200-CPI catalytic converter (item no. 340106) can be used. It features a 63 mm diameter (OEM 54 mm) and includes an Interlook flexible hose and bracket. The larger downpipe reduces backpressure, eases the turbo, and enables higher power output—up to 330 hp depending on the installed components. The pipe is bent and welded only at the flex section and flange. To connect to the original exhaust system, a 63>54 mm reducer sleeve must be used, but larger exhaust systems are typically used in tuning.
