This digital exhaust gas temperature display is designed for precise monitoring of exhaust gas temperature in systems subjected to high thermal and mechanical stress. The system consists of a digital LED display, a vibration-resistant sheathed thermocouple made of INCONEL, and the appropriate M8 compression fitting for a gas-tight installation in the exhaust manifold or downpipe.
Thanks to the combination of the robust 3mm sensor with a heat-resistant glass-silk cable (up to 400°C), this set is ideally suited for use near the engine, where conventional components with silicone cables exceed thermal stress limits.

Design and Safety Instructions:
Installation depth: The maximum immersion depth of the sensor into the exhaust stream is 10 mm, to minimize flow resistance and leverage effects during high-frequency vibrations.
Signal extension: If the 3-meter cable needs to be extended, this must be done exclusively using specified thermocouple connectors (Type K) to prevent measurement errors caused by thermoelectric interference.
Installation: Installation and connection to the vehicle electrical system require qualified technical personnel.

Applications with high exhaust manifold ambient temperatures: Specifically for performance-enhanced engines and motorsport conversions where the radiant heat in the area of the exhaust manifold exceeds the temperature resistance of standard silicone cables (max. 200°C).
Flexible interior installation: The display’s compact housing dimensions allow for discreet integration into the dashboard, the center console, or using a mount on the A-pillar. The 3-meter-long sensor cable ensures easy routing from the engine compartment to the cockpit.
