Whether classic naturally aspirated tuning, supercharger or turbo conversions – these forged connecting rods offer the perfect balance of maximum stability and minimum weight.

Premium material & precision manufacturing

Made from high-strength 4340 forged steel, all ZRP connecting rods undergo state-of-the-art CNC manufacturing processes under the strictest tolerances. The I-beam construction as a "Lightweight" variant ensures reduced overall weight while maintaining enormous distortion rigidity. The connecting rod eye is equipped with a durable silicon bronze bushing and features an integrated radial lubrication groove for optimal oil supply to the piston pin.

• Maximum safety: Each connecting rod is meticulously inspected for material defects using Magnaflux crack testing.

• High-end finish: The connecting rod bearings are honed to an accuracy of +/- 0.0001”, and the subsequent shot peening compacts the surface for a dramatically increased service life.

ZRP steel connecting rods are designed for peak output of up to 200 hp per cylinder (approx. 800 hp total). Despite these enormous reserves for motorsport, your vehicle remains completely suitable for everyday use. The connection is secured via the legendary ARP 2000 bolts included in the scope of delivery, which with a tensile strength of 220,000 p.s.i. withstand even extreme boost pressures and engine speeds.
