The Turbo-parts 50mm Blow-Off Valve is an open, high-performance blow-off valve for turbocharged gasoline engines. We developed it as a technically reliable yet cost-effective alternative to expensive brand-name manufacturers. The valve is suitable for use in motorsports as well as in performance-oriented street vehicles and offers rock-solid, reliable performance without the premium price tag of a brand name. We have successfully tested the valve on vehicles up to 700 PS!

With a high flow rate and minimal latency, the valve ensures efficient pressure relief in the intake tract. It effectively protects the turbocharger’s compressor from transient pressure spikes (known as compressor pumping) during load changes.

Function and Design Features

• Structural Rigidity: The housing is fully CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum (6061-T6), ensuring high thermal stability and resistance to warping even at extreme temperatures.

• High Flow Capacity: With a valve diameter of 50 mm, the design offers maximum cross-sectional area to quickly and efficiently discharge large air mass flows and high boost pressures.

• Precise Response: The weight-optimized valve design, combined with a durable, flexible diaphragm, ensures minimal response times when the throttle valve closes, thereby optimizing boost pressure build-up.

• Flow Acoustics: The internal design is flow-optimized to minimize high-frequency noise (whistling) and ensure clean, purely volume-based pressure relief.

Technical Specifications

Technical Note on ECU Tune: The exact operation at idle depends on the engine’s specific intake manifold vacuum. For individual fine-tuning to your setup, the preload can be adjusted using separately available tuning springs.
