The control unit must be sent to us.
With an on-site ECU tune, power output of up to 280 hp can be achieved.
If the control unit is sent in, a maximum of 250 hp is possible.
Procedure:- You must send us your control unit. Once we receive the control unit, it takes approximately 2 business days before it is shipped back to you. Shipping to you then takes approximately 1-3 days.- Please specify which parts you have installed, i.e. which parts have been replaced compared to the originals. Either send us an email or include a note with the control unit.

Anyone pushing a 1.8T engine past a certain power threshold will quickly hit the physical limits of the OEM sensors and valves. To avoid incorrect readings and power loss, we recommend these two essential upgrades to our customers:
1) 80mm Mass Air Flow Sensor Upgrade (Part No. 280128) At power levels of approx. 230+ hp, the original MAF housing reaches saturation. The result: The ECU receives incorrect readings and can no longer correctly calculate the mixture. The enlarged 80mm housing ensures optimal flow and precise values even at high boost pressure.
2) Performance Pulse Valve / Control Valve N75 (Item 160200) The original OEM boost control valve is often too weak for higher boost pressures. It tends to regulate imprecisely, leading to boost pressure drops and noticeable power loss. Our performance valve works extremely quickly and stably – the perfect choice for your electronic boost controller and consistent boost pressure build-up.
