Description:
- The basis of this turbocharger is the Borgwarner K04-001 53049500001 it is installed in the transversely mounted Audi / Seat / VW 1.8T engines and has a milled compressor wheel from  the Audi S3 8P K04-064 and a specially cast compressor housing. The supercharger fits almost 1:1 and is replaced by the original. All connections are as original, except the inlet of the specially cast fresh air housing is slightly larger, ø 60mm, so the intake hose must be modified. The software must be adapted to the turbo. In order to achieve an output of approx. 300hp, the following must be installed: silicone intake hose, 380cc injectors, intercooler kit, upgrade manifold, 76mm downpipe with 200 cell catalytic converter and min. 63.5mm exhaust system. With the right ECU adaptation, up to 300hp are possible. We obtain the turbo from a German Borgwarner representative.
