The old turbo is simply replaced by the new one. No welding necessary. Oil and water connections from the old turbo fit, but the oil feed line should definitely be replaced. The original intercooler must be relocated because the intake is 76mm and the original intake hose no longer fits.

We point out that the installation of this item constitutes a modification that invalidates the vehicle’s operating license according to the StVZO. Not permitted for use on public roads.

It may be possible to register the turbo kit according to §21 StVZO after a successful exhaust, noise and performance measurement.
