    Description:
We offer an original Garrett turbocharger. We obtain these from Garrett distributors, so you can be sure that the turbos are original. Garrett is one of the few turbocharger manufacturers that subjects the turbos to several qualification tests, meaning you always get a top product. Among other things, a 1000-hour durability test is carried out on an engine in a Garrett engineering laboratory, thrust bearing test, the maximum tolerance of the bearing system is checked as well as material fatigue, a vibration test is carried out, etc.

The Garrett GT and GTX series are all double ball bearing, precision balanced, and oil- and water-cooled. There is also the older generation T series, which are mostly plain bearing. The GTX series differs from the standard GT series in that it has a special, larger compressor wheel with multiple blades, which leads to more power and slightly better response characteristics. It is important for ball bearing turbochargers that they do not receive too much oil pressure. Therefore, an oil restrictor with a 0.9mm bore is used in the oil supply. A ball bearing turbo responds about 400-500 rpm earlier than a plain bearing turbo. When choosing the right turbocharger, ask us or check directly on the manufacturer's homepage http://turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/turbochargers. All information such as exhaust housing options, product description, performance map, and drawings are available there.
