Description:
- The Y-pipe sits between the catalytic converter and the exhaust system. It is screwed onto the original catalytic converter. It has a cross-section of 76mm 3". The larger downpipe reduces back pressure, relieves the turbo and allows more power to be delivered, depending on the components installed up to 450 hp. To fit the original exhaust system, a reduction sleeve from 76>55mm must be used, but usually, for tuning, larger exhaust systems are used, and in this case, the pipe cross-section should not be reduced. Due to the larger cross-section of ø 76mm 3", the downpipe may need to be dented in at certain points.
