Description:
The stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces backpressure, relieving the turbocharger, which in turn results in more power, torque and lower exhaust gas temperatures. The post-catalyst sensor may need to be programmed out. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so that they do not warp and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are machined flat. 2 lambda sensor connections M18x1.5mm are welded in. The downpipe is located between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. A 200-cell metal catalytic converter is installed. The connection to the exhaust is ø 76mm and not ø 60mm as original. A power output of up to max. 500PS can be driven, of course the other components such as intake, exhaust system, injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must also be installed and the software adapted to it. Upgrade turbochargers such as K04-064 also fit the downpipe plug & play.

Due to the limited space in the all-wheel drive system and the larger cross-section ø 76mm of the downpipe, if the engine mounts are worn, it may happen that the downpipe has to be tapped in slightly at the point where the propeller shaft runs along.
