The old turbo is simply replaced by the new one. No welding necessary. Oil and water connections fit from the old turbo, but in any case the oil supply line should be renewed. The original intercooler must be repositioned because the intake has 76mm and the original intake hose no longer fits.

The turbo kit may possibly be registered after successful exhaust, noise and performance measurement in accordance with §21 StVZO.
