    Description: Software tuning / chip for Audi A4 B5 150 hp engines with KKK K04-015 turbocharger
    Components included: KKK K04-015 turbocharger, 70mm downpipe + exhaust system, large intercooler, intake hose, 80mm mass airflow sensor, 380cc or 440cc fuel injectors available ( please specify at time of purchase )  
    The control unit must be sent to us.
     
    Procedure:
    - You must send us your control unit. Once we receive the control unit, it takes approximately 2 business days until it is shipped back to you. Shipping then takes approximately 1-3 days to reach you.- Please specify which parts you have installed, i.e. which parts have been replaced compared to the original parts. Either send an email or include a note with the control unit.
     

    Note on basic tuning

    Since we cannot inspect the vehicle technically in advance or measure it on a dynamometer, the software is based on our extensive experience and dyno knowledge from comparable vehicle setups.

    We rely on numerous proven and reliably functioning mappings that have been specifically tuned to similar combinations of turbocharger, injectors, mass airflow sensor and other hardware.

    The supplied basic application serves to ensure that the vehicle can be operated reliably with the modifications made.

    IMPORTANT:
    This software is expressly not intended for permanent full-throttle driving, racetrack operation or extreme loads.

    For maximum performance, perfect drivability and the highest operational reliability, we generally recommend individual custom tuning on a dynamometer. Only there can the software be adapted exactly to the actual condition and the mechanical characteristics of the engine.

    For safety reasons, our basic tunes intentionally run slightly richer than the stock tune. This prevents the engine from running too lean under load and thereby suffering damage.


    Notes in case of problems after installation

    Should problems occur after installation of the modified control unit, we are of course available by phone to work together with you to find a solution.

    Please note however:

    • Remote fault diagnosis is not always fully possible
    • In certain cases the vehicle must be checked directly on site
    • The technical inspection and possible rework are carried out in cooperation with a dynamometer partner in the Bremen area
    • There the vehicle, hardware and software can be professionally analyzed and tuned

    ATTENTION:
    As part of legal rectification attempts, we expressly refer to the technical inspection on the dynamometer of CCT Motorsport GmbH. Only there can modifications be professionally checked and necessary adjustments be carried out reliably.

    Anyone who exceeds a certain power level with the 1.8T engine quickly reaches the limits of physics with the original sensors and valves. To avoid incorrect measurements and power loss, we recommend these two essential upgrades to our customers:

    • 1) Upgrade mass airflow sensor 80mm (Item 280128) From an output of approx. 230+ hp the original MAF housing reaches saturation. The result: The control unit receives incorrect measurements and can no longer calculate the mixture cleanly. The enlarged 80mm housing ensures optimal flow and exact values even at high boost pressure.

    • 2) Performance pulse valve / control valve N75 (Item 160200) The original OEM boost control valve is often too weak for higher boost pressures. It tends to regulate imprecisely, which leads to boost pressure drops and noticeable power loss. Our performance valve works extremely quickly and stably – the perfect choice for your electronic boost controller and consistent boost pressure build-up.
