Description:
The ø 76mm stainless steel downpipe significantly reduces back pressure, relieving the turbo, which in turn results in more power, torque, and lower exhaust gas temperatures. The post-cat sensor may need to be programmed out. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel so that they do not warp and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are machined. There are 2 O2 sensor ports M18x1.5mm welded in. The downpipe sits between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. A 200-cell cat is recommended. The connection to the exhaust is ø 76mm and not ø 60mm as original. Power up to max. 500hp can be run, of course, other components such as intake, exhaust system, injectors, manifold, intercooler, turbocharger must also be installed and the software adapted accordingly. Upgrade turbochargers such as K04-064 also fit plug & play to the downpipe.
